trad jazz arrangements for flexible ensemble

This series is scored for a wide range of alternative instruments, but the recommended line-up is trumpet or cornet lead (part 2), clarinet, trombone, bass or tuba, plus piano and guitar or banjo, the classic New Orleans orchestration.

Some pieces are technically very easy, with syncopation kept to a minimum, others are rhythmically more challenging. Happy or sad, they

should all be played with gusto!
